Tell me when did things go so wrong. Evening dress. Get a hold of my heart. Indigo blues. Now and then. Girl in the room. Anywhere you are. Over and over again. It's alright. If you want the sun to shine. Responsibility: the Smithereens.

Nov 13,  · Once again, The Smithereens bring a fine taste of their musical talents for Rock n’ Roll. It is beyond me that this stellar group have remained as legendary cult figures, whispered about by fans, shouted about by musicians, and nearly ignored by the musical public at large/5(25).

Jan 10,  · 6. God Save the Smithereens 7. Blow Up 8. A Date with the Smithereens I haven't heard Meet or the Christmas album yet. Of the above, the only one I really don't like at all is A Date With, and I rate Blow Up as just okay (several of the songs sound a bit too similar to earlier pieces, and it seems like creatively they were temporarily out of gas).
