- TygobarThe Who was there at the creation of sixties rock, or so it seems in retrospect. Certainly this very talented band, with Peter Townshend, John Entwhistle, Keith Moon, and Roger Daltry all contributing artistically to the strength of the group, was in the spotlight most of the time by the late s, and their creative juices were often exercised in pursuit of a number of artistic activities/5(8).

- TygornIn conclusion, Who's Better Who's Best remains a solid compilation, one of the best single-disc Who retrospectives available on CD. With a couple of tweaks it could have been better, but as it stands its a firm four star experience and 30 years after being released still remains worthy of consideration by anyone seeking The Who's hits on CD/5(52).

- MojarWho's Better, Who's Best is a compilation of the Who's best-known songs, containing all of the familiar items -- "I Can't Explain," "I Can See for Miles," "Pinball Wizard," "My Generation," "Substitute" -- but presented without much care. The album is further plagued by the presence of some filler tracks that really don't deserve to be on any best-of.
